Shipping Policy
Items currently in-stock generally ship same day via UPS if ordered before 3:00 P.M. Central Time (see “METHODS OTHER THAN UPS” below for shipping via FedEx) unless otherwise requested to ship at a later date. Shipments with backordered items will ship incomplete unless otherwise specified and shipping/handling will be charged to each shipment.
Shipping Charges For Online Orders:
All online orders will ship Pre-Pay-and-Add; unfortunately, we are NOT able to bill shipping to any Collect or Third-Party UPS account numbers, even if a note is left in the “Notes” field at time of checkout. By placing an order online, you agree to the following: 1.) Pre-Pay-and-Add shipping/handling charges (shipping/handling charges will appear on your invoice and will be payed directly to Carmex Precision Tools, L.L.C.); and 2.) Even if a Collect or Third-Party account number is requested on the online order, it will not be honored and you will be liable for all shipping/handling charges incurred. No exceptions.
Promotional Codes With Online Orders:
Any promotional codes MUST be applied to your order BEFORE checking out/completing your order. Promotional codes may not be added/retroactively activated after the order has been placed. No exceptions. If you have any trouble with adding promotional codes to your order, please contact Sales@CarmexUSA.com or call 888.628.5030 before placing your order.
Promotional Codes With Orders That Are Not Placed Through The Website:
Any promotional codes MUST be clearly and legibly applied to your original Purchase Order, not on a cover page or on an extra trailing page with disclaimers, etc. Promotional codes may not be applied/retroactively after an order has been invoiced. No exceptions.
Insurance:
All packages are shipped insured via UPS, unless requested otherwise. To request an uninsured shipment, please leave a note in the “Notes” field when checking out. All customers requesting uninsured shipments are required to have an “Uninsured Shipment Request” document filed with us. Please contact Sales@CarmexUSA.com or call 888.628.5030 to request this form. If this form is not on file with us, we will not honor a request to ship uninsured and you will be liable for all insurance charges from the carrier.
Methods other than UPS:
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship orders placed through the website via any carrier other than UPS. To ship FedEx, please contact Sales@CarmexUSA.com or call 888.628.5030. FedEx orders must be placed by 12:00 P.M. Central Time to ship same-day. Shipping promotional codes may not be applied to any carrier other than UPS, unless otherwise explicitly specified.
Shipping Descrepancies:
You must save the packing-slip that is sent with your order in the event of any shipping discrepancies such as, but not limited to: incorrect items shipped, incorrect quantities shipped, broken/damaged items.
Order Acknowledgements:
Order acknowledgements are automatically sent via e-mail only. To receive an order acknowledgement, please include the e-mail the acknowledgement should be sent to directly on your Purchase Order, but not on the cover letter or a trailing page with disclaimers.
